Vehicle Crime- St John's Road Manselton |

Good morning,
Just a message from PCSO Claire Jones.
We are working hard to tackle vehicle crime in the Manselton area.
Yesterday, I was alerted to a call received from a resident on St Johns Road, reporting vehicle interference and attempt theft of a vehicle. This is the only report received in the area in the last 48hrs.
The incident occurred approximately 00.47am on Monday 2nd November. It is believed the vehicle was locked and secure. We are trying to establish how entry was gained to quite a modern vehicle.
We will be conducting door to door enquires. Any available CCTV footage will also be downloaded and to be reviewed.
We will be carrying out hot spot patrols in the area and encourage all residents to report any suspicious activity. Please ensure your vehicle is locked and secure at all times and ensure all valuables are removed.
Your mobile phone, coins for the car park, sunglasses, packs of medication or other items that can earn quick cash are irresistible to the opportunist thief. Remember, the cost of replacing a window is often much more than that of what’s stolen. And it should go without saying that wallets, handbags, purses and credit cards should never be left in an unattended vehicle.
Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
If you have been a victim of this type of crime, please report it so we know where this is happening. | ||
